MR-2 Gen 2 3SGTE Valve Spring Kits

GSC Power-Division Single Cylindrical Valve Spring with Ti Retainer for Gen3 Toyota 3SGTE for shim under bucket includes 16 titanium retainers and 16 valve springs. This spring kit drops in with the OEM locator. These round wire springs still have the same high quality attention to detail as our popular beehive kits. The GSC5746 is Nano-peened and batched according to seat pressure within our specs. The lightweight titanium retainers are CNC machined with tolerances and repeatability that are unmatched by other brands. This keeps a consistent seat pressure across the head for ultimate reliability and performance.

• Max RPM: 8,200 RPM
• Max boost: 32 psi
• Use only Toyota OEM keeper part number: 90913-03021 for the 3SGTE. Do not swap with 2JZ keepers as height will change more than .020"/.5mm causing lower install pressure.

GSC Power-Division High Pressure Conical Valve Spring with Ti Retainer for Toyota 3SGTE for shimless/shim-over bucket includes 16 titanium retainers and 16 conical valve springs. High RPM and High Boost levels are not a problem on these kits. True conical valve springs are not a new concept and are industry proven to provide several key advantages over traditional spring designs. A major advantage of conical springs vs. traditional cylindrical or beehive springs is the damping and removal of valvetrain harmonics. Of the three designs, conical springs are the front runners in valvetrain harmonic stability. Utilizing a varying coil diameter as well as coil spacing, a conical spring acts as a natural harmonic damper in the transfer of valvetrain shock. This translates to less stress, less wear, and a longer life of the included components. This level of protection is needed in today’s engines being pushed to their physical and mechanical limits by aftermarket modifications.
